Bethpage may be greener than most!

Just found this tidbit on how Bethpage Black is Audubon Certified and uses effluent water for irrigation, right on! Bethpage Green has been playing with reduced pesticide rates for a while with the help of Rossi and Jennifer Grant, check out this link and this one too.
